We want to share important news: Our patch and security releases are now combined into one
release under the name "Patch Release". This change, which aligns with industry
standards for releases, will help GitLab users get information about security and bug
fixes sooner. Read our blog post for more information.

GitLab releases fixes for vulnerabilities in dedicated patch releases. There are two types
of patch releases: scheduled releases, and ad-hoc critical patches for high-severity
vulnerabilities. Scheduled releases are released twice a month on the second and fourth
Wednesdays. For more information, you can visit our security FAQ
